Art and Perception is an art education program designed for children that focuses on art workshops that encourage imagination, analytical and critical thinking. It explores various themes related to art to inspire creativity and allows experiment with diverse materials.
The activities involve observing, analyzing, and reflecting on artworks, reading, and personal experiences. They aim to review basic visual fundamentals, stimulate the ability to observe details and express personal opinions.
The programme incorporates educational resources from museums such as Tate Modern, MoMA, The Getty, Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, and references Institutions such as Project Zero by Harvard among others. Virtual museum visits are an important part of studying artworks and techniques, inspiring children to appreciate art and encouraging them to visit museums in person to explore further.
Art and The Colour Journey is a programme hands-on exploration of the language of colour, designed for children who are interested in learning and exploring colour through painting.
In each session, we focus on key colour concepts such as the Colour wheel, Contrast, Light and Shadow, Complementary colours, and more. These ideas come to life through the works of inspiring artists who offer unique perspectives.
We explore different themes, such as Landscapes, Still life, and Observational painting. The students are encouraged to freely apply what they’ve learned, and their own ideas and interpretations are always included and valued. This approach allows each child to express themselves creatively while learning core concepts.
The sessions are practical. We introduce the concepts in a clear and didactic way, providing an overview at the start of the class. These concepts are then revisited and applied throughout the practical and fun activities.

Explore colour theory through interactive activities inspired by Joseph Albers' book and Goethe's Theory. This course introduces children to fundamental visual concepts, encouraging creative expression and critical thinking. Those dynamics enrich the learning journey, fostering a deeper understanding of colour and its significance in art.
Exploring the interaction of colour and light, this course takes inspiration from Newton's experiments and contemporary art. Children will work with materials that reflect and project light, sparking curiosity and encouraging personal creative expression through creation.
Students will explore the relationships between words and images to see how images and texts can relate to and strengthen one another. Students will choose descriptive words or phrases from their journals, and write and create images that help communicate their meaning.
We will analyze various artists and avant-garde art through the educational resources of contemporary art museums. We can browse online, discuss different topics proposed by the artists across history, and then create our interpretations and images based on those perspectives.
